Time to catch up on updates from like... January.

HELLLOOOOOO!!!

I didn't forgot about you, DA.  not entirely.  I am having a hard time keeping up with updates, not to mention I haven't been doing many photoshoots lately, which I totally miss and need to get back into.

In the meantime, I've been trying to make a Facebook page happen for my boyfriend and I, ideally to keep all our stuff in one handy place and also not spam all our other friends with our cosplay stuff.  I am not sure it's workng on that second point, haha.

I know, I'm the worst at updating.  I've been going through and replying to comments from months ago because I am terrible and don't respond to them right away.

I have to make a bridesmaid dress for my friend Skyealloway's wedding at Scarborough Faire in Texas!  I'm thinking I will base the cut of it on Callisto's dress from the Musical Episode of Xena: Warrior Princess.  Because it is cute as hecks.

I wish I was going to Fanime, but with as much other travelling as I have to do (Family, aforementioned Wedding), It is probably best for me to skip it because I only have so much money and PTO.  ADULTHOOD.

I'm trying to not plan too much because I get overwhelmed pretty easy.  There are several other things I would love to make this year but I'm trying to keep it reasonable.

Sorry for being so bad at updating you.

I should have some new stuff coming soon!  I have a picture or two of my Kaiji from Sakuracon to upload (PiggyNukka, who was Fem-Ichijou, uploaded the best one already, haha) and I'm waiting for pictures from a shoot with Mami to come back.

I have a few coming in of my Kyrie from Fanime, now with added Rudolf, thanks to a very game BF.  We also tried to do Kaoru and Sentarou from Sakamichi no Apollon (at his request, no less) but my poor Kaoru was a disaster, even though his Sentarou was kawaii as hell.  And by kawaii I mean manly?  No I mostly mean it was adorable.

I still need a decent shoot with my Originality Miku and I was supposed to do an Ano Natsu shoot at Fanime but we just kind of did an Ano Natsu party instead?  Oops.

Anyway.  I'm still doing stuff!  Just somewhat less stuff than last year, mostly for my own sanity.

My only upcoming big project is for PAX and it's a secret (FOR NOW).  I'll also be picking one big project to do for Sakuracon next year and the rest of my plans will be determined by what groups are going on, I suppose.

I've been cosplaying more for the jollies than the glory lately, and it's a nice change!  I'll be craving an absurd project again soon, though.  It's only a matter of time.

Sorry I haven't updated in ages.

I do have things to upload, I'm just... really lazy about it I guess .___.

The ones I really REALLY should post are the results of my second Stomp the Enemy shoot with silenceral at the EMP Museum!  They only gave us ~20 minutes to shoot, ultimately, but I'm still pleased with how it turned out, and I'm just glad I got to actually do one of my dream shoots.

I even took time off work to do it, haha.  When I came back the next day and people asked what I did with my extra day off I was like, NOOOOTHHHIIIINNNNNGGG????  Although I've been here long enough I could probably stop being so secretive about the extent of my nerdery, at least to most people.

Anyway.  I will post things.  Soon?  Ish?
